There is more than one organisation to tell
Most people have around 25 things to work through. We can put them in order for your situation. Usually a couple of minutes, free.
Build my checklistBefore you get in touch, what to have ready
EE will tell you if they need any documents. Having these to hand helps them find the account.
- The deceased's full name, date of birth and last address
- The date of death
- Account, policy or reference numbers if you can find them (old statements or emails)
- Your relationship to the deceased and your own contact details
- The account number, plus the phone number or address on the account
- Somewhere to note any reference number they give you
What happens next
EE does not publish a response time. Keep a note of when you got in touch and any reference they give you, so you can follow up if needed.
Details on this page come from EE's own bereavement page, linked below. The review date above shows when we last checked it.
Let Alenity contact them for you
We can notify EE on your behalf, drafting the message, sending it, and handling the back-and-forth. You only step in when a decision is needed.
