- Notifications
- We notify every organisation in the estate. There's no limit on how many.
- Documents
- We send the documents you upload, such as the death certificate, grant of probate and ID. We fill in each organisation's bereavement forms ready for you to sign.
- Replies
- Replies come into one inbox. We read them and tell you in plain English what each one means and what happens next.
- Chasing
- We follow up at set intervals until each organisation confirms the account is closed or resolved. There's no time limit.
You do
- Upload the documents, and sign any form that needs the executor's or administrator's signature.
- Answer questions only you can answer, such as account choices or where money should go.
- Order death certificates from the register office.
Not included
- Ordering death certificates.
- Probate or confirmation applications, tax returns, and legal or financial advice.
- Arranging the funeral, managing or selling property, and distributing the estate. We offer guidance on these only.
- Third-party fees, which are separate from Alenity's price.

Understand funeral options, compare costs and work out what to ask providers. You choose and appoint the funeral provider; Alenity does not arrange or carry out the funeral.

Understand whether probate may be needed, the application steps and the information to gather. You or your appointed professional submits the application; Alenity does not apply on your behalf or provide legal or tax advice.
Property guidance
Understand what to consider around securing, insuring, clearing, maintaining or selling a property. You appoint and instruct any providers; Alenity does not manage or carry out the work.
